- Bouyancy
Eco Sea does not absorb water only the spill. When the product is “full” it does not sink but keeps floating to allow removal from sea with existing recovery methods like nets etc.
- Saturation
Due to the encapsulation method the spill remains in Eco Sea and there is no haste or rush to remove the absorbed spill from the sea as it does not leak. Should more product than necessary be used it does not create an environment problem as it is degradable and does not cause secondary contamination.
- Spill retention
With Eco Sea the retention is almost 100 % and is not affected by wind, waves or currents. The product only leaks when it is placed under manual or mechanical pressure.
- Strength and durability
With Eco Sea the spill is encapsulated and forms a lump that keeps floating until it is removed from the sea. Again, there is not haste or rush for the recovery as it is not affected by wind or waves.
- Fermentation
No fermentation takes place with the Eco Sea product, with or without absorbed spill.
